Program Background

The Nevada Certified Public Manager (NVCPM) Program was awarded accreditation and membership to the National Certified Public Manager Consortium on September 18, 2005.  The National Consortium accredits and establishes the standards and requirements for the CPM designation and authorizes only one organization per state to deliver the national CPM Program.  The purposes of the National CPM Consortium are to 1) facilitate program expansion; 2) ensure content quality; and 3) provide an information clearinghouse. The Nevada program received its first five-year accreditation in October 2010 and again in October 2015..

A variety of states and government entities are accredited members of the National CPM Consortium. For a list of these members, please visit the national consortium site: http://www.txstate.edu/cpmconsortium/
