PEER MENTOR PROGRAM
The State’s Peer Mentor Program provides a support structure, mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities for veterans, members of the Nevada National Guard, and members of the U.S Armed Forces Reserves employed by the State of Nevada. Goals include, but are not limited to, improving veteran recruitment and retention and improving morale and Esprit de Corps through veteran recognition events and activities.

ELIGIBILITY
The Peer Mentor Program is open to participation by all state employees as prior military service is not a requirement. AGENCY PARTICIPATION
The Director of each State agency that employs veterans is required to identify at least one employee to serve as a peer mentor for veterans and participate in the peer mentor program. ADDITIONAL RESOURCE
