COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENTS

USE OF TECHNOLOGY
The Department of Administration, Enterprise IT Services has responsibility for establishing regulations and providing guidance to State agencies on protection of State information technology (IT) systems and the data that those systems process, store and transmit electronically. Additionally, State agencies may have internal policies governing information technology and their uses.

BASIS FOR DISMISSAL OR DISCIPLINE
Nevada Administrative code includes as basis for dismissal:
- Intentionally viewing or distributing pornographic material at the premises of the workplace including on any computer owned by the State, unless as required as a function of the employee's position;
- Unauthorized release or use of confidential information; or
- Stealing or misappropriating any property that is owned by the State or located on State property.
