WHISTLEBLOWER, NRS 281.611 through 281.671 encourages State officers and employees to disclose improper governmental action, and it is the intent of the legislature to protect the rights of employees who make such a disclosure. The claim of reprisal must be submitted on the HR-53 form, Request for Hearing under the provisions of NRS 281.641 (Whistleblower Law) not later than 60 working days after the date on which the alleged violation occurred.
